Welcome to PAC!

The Police Auxiliary Civilian Team is a volunteer non-profit traffic control organization.  PAC is a paraprofessional team working with various law enforcement agencies in the community.

This highly trained team is capable of handling both routine and emergency situations as needed.

Since 1980, the PAC Team has provided traffic control for special events such as marathons, 10K runs, and parades.  PAC also works scheduled events like presidential visits, car shows, boat races, etc.  The team is also called out to assist during emergency situations such as the Pepcon incident, power blackouts and major traffic accidents.

The primary function of the Police Auxiliary Civilian Team is to select and train applicants to work with law enforcement agencies in the Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City community areas.

Team members are trained with seminars on first aid, CPR, traffic control, hazardous materials handling, helicopter landing procedure, preserving an accident scene, and state flagman certification.

Membership in the Police Auxiliary Civilian Team is nondiscriminatory and open to any person 18 years or older  with integrity, a sense of community pride, and no previous altercations with the law.

A pre-screening process is used to select applicants to begin training to work with this elite team.  To obtain more information and an application to join this exciting, self-rewarding organization,
